Vanity Lair Channel 4Ok so it’s finally here. My second reality TV show ( the first one being “dirty cows” ) its aired every Sunday on channel 4 ( t4 ) at 12:45 and then repeated on Saturdays, so if you miss moi in action you can see it on repeat.
When the first one was aired last sunday my phone was inundated with text and calls, people thought that I was in the mansion filming now, it’s was actually filmed in the summer lol It was an amazing experience, I made so any new friends and obviously I know what happens and how it pan’s out, but my lips are sealed you’ll just have to tune in. any questions just ask moi and a the story unfolds i will be writing a few more bits and bobs :O) ohhh and I hate that picture they used of me it’s horrible !!!! It was taken at 11pm at night just before I was ready for bed ” we only need a quick snap shot for producers purpose only ” they said as jumped out of my hotel bed, scraped back my hair in to bunches and went into pose position in-front of a green table cloth lol little did I know that was going to be used to represent me for the rest of the show ahhhhh
Sitting i this house full of ‘beautiful people’, wondering what will tomorrow bring?
The excitement of not knowing what quirky things might occur. Its been an emotional roller-coaster on my quest to discover what is beauty. I have been here 9 weeks now, nearly at the finish line, i cant help but wonder have i found the answer to the question i started off to find ?
What is attractive? What is true beauty ?
We’ve found out some of the main factors in what makes attractive and beautiful.
Confidence, intelligence, honesty and creativeness. I cant help but think there is so much more to beauty that we haven’t discovered, so many more experiments to be done.
Can we really measures peoples beauty ?
If we could, then at birth wouldn’t the right amount of beauty be inserted into us ? Why isn’t there classes at school, or even microchips installed into when we are born …. surly if we knew ” what was beauty” wouldn’t everyone already be beautiful and the question we are seeking shouldn’t exist? Maybe we are not meant to find the answer.
Personally i think we could all have our options and our preconceptions on beauty and what is attractive but i think it’s a long lost secret, it’s a bit like the holly grail and the meaning of life. We know there’s an answer but we just don’t know how to find it.
Beauty is different to everyone and no matter how we find it we should accept other peoples views and perspective on beauty. Is that part of the answer? acceptance? People try to be accepted all their life’s. Accepted by friends, family and strangers they haven’t even met yet. Are we as society trying too hard? Will my mission to find out what is beauty and attractiveness, help me fight my own demons? The reason why i did this TV show ( Vanity Lair ) was to find out what MY beauty was and what makes me attractive. They say beauty is in the eye of beholder, but there must be some sort of grounds, foundation to start it off.
Is this why we are here to find the base of beauty ?
Then to build and blossom the foundations? what if some of the foundation starts to crumble or is not stable to build on? We take a step back and start to re- build. Are we re-building ourself, our inner and outer beauty? How far are we willing to go to make sure we complete our specification of beauty? Drastic measures people have taken, spending ridiculous amounts of time and money to look how we think beauty should be represented on the outside, i think sometimes if i was happy with the person i was within , then why must i feel the need to change the outer me? My answer………..
………… for more inner beauty, by changing the outer beauty it gave me more confidence inside. How much changing do we need to do before we are 100% beautiful within our-self’s. Will anyone ever feel 100% happy with themselves? Someone once said to me “when you stop striving for perfection you might as well be dead”
I look, listen and watch my fellow house mates, game players, liars, honest people, vain, insecure, funny. Some of them say they are 100% comfterblel with themselves, but i wonder how much of them are telling the truth, are they just saying that to project an image of confidence? Is that really true the words that slip from their lips? Being true to yourself is a huge factor in beauty, as it means you can take constructive criticism and notice your own flaws. Therefore hopefully wanting to better yourself and that will make you a more attractive person.
Some of the people in this house aren’t being true, I’m just waiting till their mask’s slip and their true colors shine through.
Are we opening pandoras box when we take the mask’s off?
Letting out our secrets, our deep inner self’s? Is it always wise to take the mask off or just to let it slip off?i have no right in telling someone who they are an vice-a- versa. Everyone has good in them, good and bad, we all are beautiful in our own different ways but its how we choose to project it into the world thats shows our real beauty. And which e choose to embrace more, ying-yang ( good or bad )
How we are perceived is a major factor in attractiveness, some of us like to play it safe and protect ourselves, sometimes with alter egos and faces full of make-up, plastered on so thick that its designed to not let people in and see the real you. Why do some people insist on wearing this disguise? Are some of u afraid of what people might see or what we might see ourselves?
Beauty is not something that can be brought
Beauty is not something that can be given
Beauty is not something that can be faked
Beauty is all around us, its how we choose to use our beauty that is the real beauty and how modest we are with our findings which is the holy grail of attractiveness.
